| My Darn Dog Dobi was born on August 16, 1997 in Iowa at a Shiba Inu puppy mill. From there she traveled as a pup to Missouri and finally San Diego, California. Along the way she lost her two front toes
and a portion of her upper lip. Today she continues to live in San Diego and rules the land at the Balboa Dog Park and Ocean Beach Dog Beach. The only places Dobi is not Top Dog (in other words she behaves like a princess) is at her vet, College Animal Hospital, where she is tenderly cared for and KindToCanines.com, her trainer.
UPDATE: On March 11, 2006 Dobi was diagnosed with Glaucoma. An extremely painful disease that may be hereditary, it affects the eye's ability to drain fluid properly. Have your vet measure the intraocular pressure of your pet's eyes before they lose their sight or their eye.
